Morgawr – Song Lyrics by Lizzie Pridmore
I was made for the deep, uncharted sea.
A spoken word created life in me.
Leviathan, men called, me, when to the light I came,
But I was made for deeper ways – Morgawr is my name.
Here in silence, I listen and I sense
The pulse of life, invisible, immense,
The heartbeat of the ocean which pulses loud and clear
For those with ears to listen and souls prepared to hear.
Time and tide ebb and flow,
Circle round, watch it grow.
The wisdom of the tide grows in my bones, in my bones,
The wisdom of the tide grows in my bones.
Old as water, this truth is clear to me -
That source and matter dwell in unity.
The creatures and the ocean, the weather and the tide,
The mystery of presence that in all things abides.
Time and tide…
Source of all, let the hymn to thee arise!
All we that in our making are disguised
Give cry to praise the maker of matter and of mind,
The One who is in all things, the One in whom we find
Time and tide….
